My name's Helder. Here in France i think we have the same holidays as in your country. Students will be on holidays for 2 weeks the 22 December. Then again the will have another 2 weeks in February. In our school we don't have the same holidays as we are in a particular situation. We both work and are students. So we have 5 weeks a year that we can dispose as we want.

About the stables, as i live in Paris no they are rare here . I guess it's the same as in Manhatan for example ? By the wy, how far is Rochester from NY ?
When you go to the suburbs, you will find more easily stables. But i cant' tell you more about horses

To work, we don't need work permits but you have to be at leat 16 to start working but in fact it's really hard to be hired when you have less than 18 years old.
Many students have part times jobs to earn some money. I did a lot of part time jobs from delivering pizzas to working in the Eiffel Tower.
Now i don't need it anymore. In our school we have special contracts. It's hard to explain but we aren't really students but not really professionals too. We spend 6 weeks in class, and then 10 in our companies. What's great is that we get paid even when we are at school

Instead of horses i'd rather ride a bike . I had a lot of bike accidents while i was riding in the forests but i still love it

Sinon non je n'ai pas vu Happy feet. Il est sorti au cinéma aujourd'hui seulement. En france la plupart des films s'appellent comme aux USA. On ne traduit pas les noms.
Demain je vais allez voir je pense Casino Royale ou The Departed. Est ce que tu les as vus ?
